Establishing a place in a community with friends, growing families, and new responsibilities can be challenging under any circumstance. The demands of children often lead to stressors that may not have been anticipated. Even the most logical plan needs to be altered to maintain some semblance of order. Thus, I found it essential to make time for myself so I could redefine my goals and find balance in the various roles I juggled.
